Some recent projects at The Fennel Shed, just some of the techniques you could learn once you join us for a sewing break.

September Sewing Weekend 2019

Friday 6th

ARRIVAL

Arrive any time after 3.0 p.m. Time to settle in , relax, set up in the sewing room etc.
Dinner at home 7.30 p.m.

Saturday 7th

STASH-BUSTER QUILTS

Explore two (or more) quick-and-easy patterns, one all squares and rectangles, the other all triangles – you choose. The emphasis will be on using up the fabrics that we have got, not buying a fortune of new ones!

Saturday p.m.
We will visit Nicola at Old Schoolhouse Quilts in late afternoon, then relaxing time until Dinner – 7.30p.m. in the Drift Inn

Sunday 8th

MORNING FREE TO SLEEP / PRAY / WALK

12.30 – 4.00 p.m. Demonstration of new tricks and techniques in cutting and sewing, followed by Afternoon tea. Those staying Sunday night will enjoy a Take-away feast from choice of local restaurants (not included).

Monday 9th

AND SEW ON DAY

Continue working on projects begun over the weekend 10.30 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.
